ABOUT

Linestory Studio is an art and architectural design studio based in Nagpur. Architect Kewal Rewatkar, the principal architect of the studio graduated from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in 2018.

Keenly interested in visual art and later developing the fascination of interconnectedness of the functionality and aesthetics, the architect aims to provide the architectural consultancy with client's priority and well informed service from the studio.

PROJECTS

BRIDGE HOUSE, Nagpur

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
PROJECT STATUS: Completed in October 2022

The 4 bedroom duplex residence has the double height living and dinning space, thus creating a bridge at the centre of the house. The skylights in both these spaces adds to the height of the spaces. Simplicity in the built form accentuates the key features of the houses both from inside and outside.

EUREKA COWORKING, Nagpur

INTERIOR DESIGN
PROJECT STATUS: COMPLETED in January 2021

Post Covid situation demanded the work from home scenario, creating rising requirement for Coworking spaces in every city. The project "Eureka Coworking" creates a vibrant environment for working and yet values the importance of creative working by providing both indoor & outdoor breakout spaces in balcony, Terraces, pasaages etc. The warm colours and simple geometries used elevates the mood alongwith adjusting to everyone's choice of their personal space.

CLOUDBLITZ Datascience Training Centre, Nagpur

INTERIOR DESIGN
PROJECT STATUS: COMPLETED in January 2022

The Datascience training centre shifted to the new place where they wanted their interior to promote about their training centre alongwith engaging students as well as trainers in various learning activities. The vibrant colours are inspired from the colour theme of their logo. Exposed electrical conduiting expressed in patterns catches one's eye in the space.

CureDiab CLINIC, Nagpur

The diabetes clinic is run by the Ayurvedic Medical Professional couple who wanted the interior of the clinic NOT to be like the steriotypical dull ambience which makes patient even more frightened, rather a homely atmosphere with ample natural light and warm interior. The furniture highlights the structural metal frame with required comfort and the function, such as the reception table showcases the various products incorporated in the design itself.

EUREKA COWORKING 2.0, Nagpur

To elevate the workspace experience, we wanted to come up with the vibrant workspace for the users to work in. With collaboration with the client and the given budget, we've tried to integrate creative design solutions to meet practicality at the site.The parametric bamboo ceiling hides the otherwise boring electrical layout on the ceiling. Reception backdrop also acts as the backdrop for events from it's back side. The fresh colour elevates the mood of the users while working.
